When I asked my dad to consider buying barcode scanners for our store, he refused to buy these items since they were expensive. Fortunately, I found an online store that sold used barcode scanners. Although they were secondhand models, the owner of the store told me that the products were just three months old. So they could still function like brand new gadgets. However, it was my dad who still had the final decision. After all, it is his store.
When I consulted my dad about the scanners, he told me to buy one used barcode scanner to test it. The scanner arrived one week later. My dad and I used it on some of the products that we were selling. Amazingly, it worked pretty well. Even my dad was surprised as to how fast it could enter the prices of the products. This prompted my dad to allow me to buy more scanners.
I chatted with the owner of the online store again and requested him to provide us with ten used barcode scanners. It was a lucky day for me since the owner only had ten scanners left. So I bought them all and the products arrived two weeks after. Today, the number of customers in our store is rapidly increasing thanks to the scanners.
